Since the World Health Organization declared the COVID-19 outbreak a global pandemic, many of us, even those who have not been infected by the virus, will choose to quarantine in our homes for the upcoming weeks. Capsized travel plans, indefinite isolation, panic over scarce re-sources and information overload could be a recipe for unchecked anxiety and feelings of isola-tion. More and more businesses have mandated that their employees work from home (WFH) in the ongoing effort to minimize the effects of the coronavirus outbreak. For those who find themselves working at home in the coming weeks, an important question must be posed: what’s the best way to maximize productivity, maintain good health, and get the most out of your day working remotely?
Last week I was out of work, and this week (surprisingly enough) was my one of my busiest weeks with the company. With more people online, the more it makes senses for someone like me to be creating content and engaging with consumers. I’ve spent about 4 hours at least everyday just catching up with and releasing the newest memes and trending content to help boost our brand.
Getting creative and offering a ultimatum for people while bored during this time is key. Most people are bored, so I posted more surgery’s, Q&A sessions, and giveaways. Besides occupying other people’s time, it actually helped our socials grow, and us to understand our following more.
